Enter to win by obtaining the “Watch and Win Prize Word” associated with each GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car race from contest entry cards distributed at each race or by watching the eleven (11) designated GRAND-AM race broadcasts on SPEED TV during the contest period. The “Watch and Win Prize Word” will be displayed up to three (3) times per broadcast. After obtaining the “Watch and Win Prize Word” for that particular race, log onto www.grand-am.com/foose and complete the contest entry form that includes your name, zip code, age verification, e-mail address, and the “Watch and Win Prize Word” for each GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race conducted during the contest period. Beginning on January 30, 2010 for eleven (11) races in the contest period, Entries must be received between the start of each Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race and 5:00 pm EDT on each Monday immediately following each Rolex Sports Car Series Race. The races in the contest period will begin with the race at Daytona International Speedway on January 30, 2010, and continue through the race at Miller Motorsports Park on September 12th, 2010. Contest open to legal residents of the United States age eighteen (18) or older with a valid driver’s license. Only one entry per e-mail address or telephone number permitted for each of the eleven (11) races. Employees of Grand American Road Racing, LLC, Pirelli, Speed TV, Mazda, Homestead-Miami Speedway, LLC, New Jersey Motorsports Park, , Watkins Glen International, Inc. , Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Daytona International Speedway, LLC, Barber Motorsports Park, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Miller Motorsports Park, Lime Rock Park, Virginia International Raceway (“Promotional Parties”) and their respective parent, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies, and members of their immediate family may not participate.
Available prizes: Eleven (11) First Prize Winners will receive a trip for the winner to the GRAND-AM Championship Weekend scheduled to be held at Miller Motorsports Park September 11-12, 2010. Each First Prize winner’s package will include round trip airfare from the major airport closest to the winner’s home to Salt Lake City International Airport (up to $500), two (2) night hotel stay, transportation to the Miller Motorsports Park, an all access SEL credential valid for the GRAND-AM race at Miller Motorsports Park. Each First Prize winner’s package is valued at approximately $1,600. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a Chip Foose customized Mazda RX8 R3 automobile, valued at approximately $32,000 and a Paul Reed Smith SE guitar. All applicable taxes, license, registration fees, insurance, and any other expenses not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of each prize winner. Prizes are not transferable. No cash in lieu of prizes. No substitution of prizes. In the event any race is postponed, changed, or canceled in whole or in part, no cash, prize substitutions, or other compensation will be provided. Any difference between estimated prize values and actual prize values will not be awarded to any prize winner.
Selection of Winners: Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received. One (1) First Prize winner will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to that point in the contest on or about the Wednesday immediately following each of the eleven (11) GRAND-AM races during the contest period. Each First Prize winner will be notified by e-mail on or before 5:00 pm EDT the same day of the drawing. If any First Prize winner cannot be reached via e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours of the First Prize drawing in which their name was selected, then an alternate First Prize winner for that prize will be selected by random drawing from among remaining eligible entries. If any First Prize winner is unable to take delivery of their First Prize, then an alternate First Prize winner for that prize will be selected by random drawing from among remaining eligible entries. First Prize winners must be present at the GRAND-AM Championship Weekend to be eligible for the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing from all First Prize winners present at the iller Motorsports Park on September 11th 2010. Prior to being awarded any prize, all potential prize winners must fully comply with Sponsor’s verification process, which may require, as a condition of winning and redeeming a prize, presenting personal identification bearing his/her photograph, name, age, and address, completing, signing and delivering an affidavit and declaration of eligibility, a publicity release (where legally permitted), and any applicable forms, documents and agreement required by Sponsor and liability releases within the time frame required by Sponsor. Except where prohibited by law, in the event a potential winner refuses to participate in the winner verification process, they will forfeit any prize potentially won and Sponsor will have no other obligations to such person. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check on all potential winners and reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner based on such background check. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any potential winner or winner Sponsor determines is acting in violation of these Official Rules, is not permitted by law to receive a prize, is disruptive of the Contest, or acts in a disruptive, annoying, threatening or harassing manner .
Miscellaneous Contest Rules and Requirements: By entering this contest and/or using any prize, you agree: (1) to release the Promotional Parties, their respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies and their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees, members, agents and assigns, and the City of Salt Lake from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with participation in this contest or with acceptance and use of any prize; (2) to receive phone, email and mail solicitation from Grand American Road Racing Association, LLC and its affiliates, even if otherwise listed on a do-not-call list or other similar list; and (3) to be bound by these rules and any decisions of the sponsor or promoter relating to participation in the contest, selection of winners and awarding of prizes, whose decisions are final. In order to claim prize, additional releases and/or waivers of liability required by Miller Motorsports Park and/or any applicable sanctioning body shall also be required as appropriate. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, biographical information, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Void where prohibited by law. This contest is governed by US law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Winners’ names will be posted on GRAND-AM’s website (grand-am.com) following the drawings, or may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Grand-Am Watch and Win Contest between Requests not received during that period will not be processed.
